Yes, I went to Pulau Redang for the holidays. (well, for 4 days of my holiday that is)

Considering that we had to LEAVE the house by 5AM since our flight is at 7AM(usual AirAsia) we decided to just catch a late night movie(The Dark Knight. btw, good movie!TRUST THE REVIEWS!) and not sleep. The movie ended around 3 something, which left me around 1 1/2 hrs to pack my stuff and get ready.(yes i know i know, Im a last minute person.)
The cab came and took us to LCCT and by 7 something we were off. None of the air stewards/stewardess were good looking this time. (more like usual SCARY-too-much-make-up kinds.)
We got to the Terengganu airport and found ourselves stuck with 2/3 of the people in the flight , now in a bus, heading to the same resort; Laguna Redang. And from there, I found out that Pulau Redang, is SERIOUSLY too commercialized(too crowded). A no-no for me.

The guy who was dumping our bags like nobody's business

My fellow friend at the jetty.

This is another one of my boydguard/friend. =P

After the looooong boat ride, it was nice to get a funny dude trying to talk about the hotel facilities and what not after that. "When you see shark, don't panic...If you panic, the shark will panic also...All the sharks here are vegetarian sharks...",he said with his Malay accent. "For you who are wearing specs, contact lense etc.. you can get the power masks.Get the correct one, if not you see small fish big,and big fish small..then big fish will ngapp you." nyehhh =/

Mom looking sick already

I didnt feel like I was in Malaysia, instead on an island somewhere in China.(not being racist or whatever, just stating the fact that 3/4 of the tourists there were really from mainland China. or Taiwan, or something. The other 1/4 were Koreans)
And NOT sleeping the day before your trip to an island is a No-No too. Because when we finally got our room at 2pm after lunch, I pengsan till almost 7 or something. And it was already time for dinner. Well, after that we hang around the place where the band was playing(they sucked,REALLY! with the karaoke music and all.) Good thing the area was nice enough.

Aahakx!you dah terbakar!!! =P

Yes,I have proof that I pengsan the whole day.

View from the eating place

Breakfast yumyum!

Well the following days were more productive. Had abit of a snorkeling time just at the beach infront of the resort. And at night those company people entertained us since they were having some talent night and crap.(still, WAY better than the band)

FISHIIEE!

And Here comes the aliens...

After snorkeling,OFCOURSE you need a cuppa milo ais!

The next day we went for the snorkeling trip where they kinda dropped us in the middle of the sea instead of anchoring at the beach. Mom was feeling waaay sick so she had to go back to the boat.(which I found out later she voumitted when she got on) Sis and I enjoyed the sea. Sooo many fishieees. (and soooo many people too.) the abang who was one of the guides, suddenly popped one of these sea cucumber thingy infront of my face.SHOCKED! but cute.He squeezed it and water came out.teehee.

Well, after what felt like 1/2 hr but actually more than that, it was time for us to get back on the boat. Dad looked sicked already. When we got back to the resort, Mum and Dad went back to the room while sis and I were suppose to return the towels. We felt like having a drink at the place infront of the beach. After awhile I suggested to lay down at the beach forawhile, considering that the next day we were gonna go back already. It was darn relaxing. And because of that, suggested that we might as well take a dip. it was surprisingly COLD!(at 5PM,imagine that.) But nice. The waves at Redang were CRAZY compared to Perhentian. Damn fun though. Wish had that bodyboard thingy.

Oh yeah, the guy sitting behind me was my bodyguard during the trip.U like??kekekee

OooOOoo...fish attack!!!

kiss me fishie kiss me!!

sea cucumber!!

oh my...it looks further when youre there...

And since we both didnt bring our phones, we didnt get disturbed from zee parents.(ehehh) Went back to the room before 7-ish, and mom looked panic when she opened the door. Good thing she was too sick to scold. (ehehhehhh...)
Yeah, got ready for the last dinner and we all just hang around the beach after that.Had nice banana smoothie and ice kacangs.

The last day we decided to go around Kuala Terengganu(my actual kampung if youre looking at my dad's side. This was my FIRST time to actually GO there.) Rented a car(got a wira.good enough) Sis had to drive since my dad felt sick(voumitted alot) and we headed to some place near the pasar or something. Had a jetty. We had our lunch there and waited for one of dad's cousin aka My Uncle( Uncle Zainul, i think) who I found out later having 9 children(which means my cousins) with 2 wives(whom both I met on that day) =/
He was really nice.Reminded me of Uncle Sydney(may he rest in peace). Took us to the Istana Kecil. A really hidden place in town, and very kampung-ish but cozy. I liked it. =)
Met Uncle Mat.(who looks like Encik Kamal from Fairview.-.-') Well, we went and did some shopping at the pasar.(batik soooo nice) Tons of kraftangans and shizz. Then we went to Masjid Kristal(Crystal Mosque) which was located in the Taman Tamadun Islam.Lots of miniature sized mosque.(Mom said,"so this is where the state's money went to".) Seriously, its really nice and all, but, whats the use??
Anyways. Then we went to the keropok lekor place, dad bought like two boxes to bring back.
And we got to eat nasi dagang. YUMM!

one part of the istana kecil.ehekx =P
